Scent Link Africa – Terms and Conditions of Membership
1. Agreement to Terms
By applying to become and accepting benefits as a Member of Scent Link Africa, the Applicant agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of this Agreement as they currently exist or as may be amended by Scent Link Africa in the future.
2. Description of Business
Scent Link Africa is a business in the network marketing industry that sells high-quality fragranced products and related accessories at wholesale prices to independent entrepreneurs.
3. Return and Refunds Policy
The provision of goods and services by Scent Link Africa is subject to availability.
In cases of unavailability, Scent Link Africa will refund the client in full within 30 days.
Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 0% administration fee.
4. Privacy Policy
To provide you with up-to-date product and business information for the efficient functioning of your Scent Link Africa business, your personal data will be collected and further processed by Scent Link Africa and its group of companies in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Scent Link Africa and you, as an Independent Contractor, undertake to comply with all data protection law obligations.
5. Payment Options Accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, or American Express cards, or by bank transfer into the Scent Link Africa bank account, details of which will be provided upon request.
6. Card Acquiring and Security
Card transactions will be acquired for Scent Link Africa via Pay Fast (Pty) Ltd, the approved payment gateway for all South African acquiring banks. Pay Fast uses Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) encryption, and no card details are stored on the website.
7. Customer Privacy Policy
Scent Link Africa shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” is defined as per the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA), available at: http://www.polity.org.za/attachment.php?aa_id=3569
8. Customer and Card Details
Customer details are stored separately from card details, which are entered by the client on DPO Pay Fast secure site. For more details on DPO Pay Fast, visit www.paygate.co.za.
9. Merchant Outlet and Currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options is South Africa. The transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
10. Responsibility
Scent Link Africa takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction, including the sale of goods and services, customer service, dispute resolution, and delivery of goods.
11. Country of Domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa. Scent Link Africa chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi the business address listed on its website or registration documentation.
12. Variation
Scent Link Africa may, in its sole discretion, change this Agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

14. Qualification
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. If the applicant is a legal entity, a responsible person (18+) must be designated in writing to assume full responsibility for the membership.
15. Member Benefits
Scent Link Africa offers the Member:
The opportunity to purchase products at wholesale price
The ability to resell products for profit or for personal use
The option to recruit new Members and earn benefits under the Compensation Plan

16. Earnings & Volume Rebates
Scent Link Africa makes no guarantees regarding potential earnings. All income depends on the Member’s efforts and performance.
17. Termination of Membership
By Member: A Member may terminate their membership at any time with written notice to Scent Link Africa.
By Scent Link Africa: Scent Link Africa reserves the right to terminate a Member who:
Violates these terms or any policies
Engages in misrepresentation or unethical conduct
18. Effect of Termination
Once terminated, a Member loses all rights and access to the Compensation Plan, bonuses, and sales benefits.
19. Independent Contractor Status
Members are not employees but independent contractors. They are responsible for their own taxes and compliance with applicable laws.
20. Advertising and Brand Use
Members may not use or create variations of Scent Link Africa's brand, logo, trademarks, or marketing assets without prior written approval. This includes all forms of internet and print advertising.
21. Intellectual Property
All Scent Link Africa trademarks, slogans, and logos remain the exclusive property of the company. Members may not attempt to register or claim ownership of any brand asset.
22. Heirs and Assigns
This Agreement is binding on heirs and assigns. Transfer of membership requires written notice, transferee agreement to the terms, and approval by Scent Link Africa.
23. Product Range and Changes
Scent Link Africa may modify its product line, prices, or policies with 30 days' written notice to Members.
24. Code of Conduct
Members must uphold the reputation of Scent Link Africa by treating customers ethically and conducting business professionally.
25. Recruitment & Team Structure
To preserve the integrity of the genealogy tree, Members are discouraged from shifting Upline/Downline placements. No changes to the structure are allowed during transfer or reassignment of membership.
26. Membership Transfers
Membership may be transferred only under the following conditions:
Both parties meet eligibility criteria
Written notice and termination are submitted
Admin fee is paid
All debt with Scent Link Africa is settled
No Upline/Downline changes result
27. Buy-Back Policy
Upon termination, Scent Link Africa may repurchase marketable inventory at 90% of the net cost, excluding:
Expired/seasonal/discontinued items
Returned products must be accompanied by a Return Authorization Number.
28. Product Guarantee
Scent Link Africa offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Members must refund or exchange the product for any dissatisfied customer. Replacements are provided once the product is returned to Head Office with a valid Return Authorization Number.
29. Data Consent
You agree that your personal data may be used and stored digitally, including storage outside South Africa, for business operations and communication purposes.
30. Effective Date
This Agreement becomes effective upon:
